Admissions Procedure


Allotments of Seats-B.Tech

  • The seats to be allotted in our institutions under the rules for Admissions are classified as :

o     Category A Seats

o     Category B Seats

o     PIO(Persons of Indian Origin)/Foreign Nationals

 

  • The Category A seats shall be 70% of sanctioned intake of seats in which course which shall be filled with eligible candidates on the basis of rank obtained at EAMCET /JEE.

  • The Category B Seats shall be 30% of the total intakes of seats in each course candidate on merit basis including candidates belong to other states and Union Territories of India and NRIs/NRI sponsored candidates.

  • PIOS/Foreign/Nationals seats shall be 15%of the intake per course.

  • In respect of under graduate professional courses in Engineering Candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year which the admissions are being conducted.

For Category A
  •  The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination  (10+2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology Chemistry subjects and obtained atleast 45% marks in above subjects taken together/(40%incase of candidates belonging toreserved categories ) and should have secured a rank at the Common Entrance Test.

For Category B
  • The NRI Seats (Not Exceeding 15%of the sanctioned intake in each course)shall be filled on merit basis with NRI/NRI sponsored candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 50%of in the prescribed group subjects or Culumative Grade Point Average(CGPA)equivalent to 5 on scale of 10.

  • The remaining Seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates belonging to other states and Union Territories who have secured rank at AIEEE/JEE and secured not less than 50%of aggregate marks in qualifying examination.

  • The seats remaining and filled from ab ove shall be filled with eligible candidates on merit basis the following eligibility criteria.

  • There after, if any seats still remain unfilled such seats may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% in the prescribed group subjects taken together in the qualification examination.

  • Diploma holders with a minimum of 50% of marks in Engineering subjects are also eligible for admissions into I B.Tech course

 

For PIO /Foreign/Nationals(Extra Numerary seats)

  •  The candidates should have passed in the qualifying Examination(10+2)without less than 50% in aggregate.

Allotment of seats PG-M.Tech

Eligibility Criteria for Admission PG-M.Tech

  • The seats allotted in our Institutions or classified as

o   Category A Seats

o   Category B Seats

  • The Category A seats shall be 70% of sanctioned intake of seats in Post Graduate Engineering .These seats shall be filled with eligible candidates on the basis of rank obtain in GATE/PGCET.

  • Category B Seats shall be 30% of the total inake of seats in which course Within Category B, not exceeding 15% of the total intake of seats may be filled, at the discretion of the institution, with NRIs. The remaining seats shall be opened for admission firstly to sponsored candidates and vacant seats, if any, to the other eligible candidates on merit basis.

For Category A Seats
  • The candidate should be an Indian National.

  • The candidate should have passed the appropriate qualifying examination i.e. B.Tech,/B.E./AMIE/B.Arch,/B.Planning /M.Sc/M.C.A or equivalent examination. The candidate should also have secured a GATE score or rank at the common entrance test.

  • Provided that the NRI seats shall be filled with NRI candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 60% of aggregate marks.

  • The vacant seats if any, may be filled with eligible candidates including those securing not less than 60% in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

For Category B Seat
  • The NRI seats (not exceeding 15% of the sanctioned intake in each course ), if opted for filling of by the institution, shall be filled on merit basis with NRI who have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 60% of in prescribed group subjects or Cumulative, Grade Point Average(CGPA)equivalent to 6 on a scale of 10.

  • he remaining seats shall be filled on merit basis by the institution with sponsored candidates.

  • If vacant seats still exist, such seats may be filled on merit basis with eligible candidates including those securing not less than 60% of aggregating marks in the qualifying examination.

  • Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled succeeds may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 50% in the prescribed group subjects taken together in the qualification examination .
